We should drink water every day

I think we should drink water every day.

Firstly I think we should drink water every day so we don't get a dry mouth and  body.

Secondly I think we should drink water every day because so we keep at the right temperature.

Another reason why I think we should drink water every day is because it helps us to swallow  our food and sends nutrients around our body.

Lastly I think we should drink water every day because  when we are doing sports like netball we need water to keep us cool.

So that’s why i think we should drink water every day.

Addition Basic Fact Practice.

I have been practicing my addition basic facts. I wanted to get faster and more accurate.
when I started this week my top score was 6.  Today I scored 32.
Here are my results.

“Ready set go!” shouted Whaea Rosina.

I took off like a race car. My heart was pumping super fast  like it never pumped before.

It was Wednesday morning. I was running around the Padlie farm with the 7 year old.  

The hardest thing was going up the hill 2 times.

I was so tired when I was running up the hill. It was so hot.

I felt like I was going to explode while I was running.

My side felt like I got stabbed with a knife.

On my second round I said, “I’m so tired. My heart was racing as fast as a race car.

My Aunty was saying, “Come on Aroha.” So I took off and I went past Ani. I was the first girl past the line. I felt very excited and happy.

Netball

On Saturday me and my sister woke early in the morning. We were at Milly’s. The first thing we did was get changed into our new clothes. Then we brushed our hair and washed our faces.

Milly said, “We are going to netball in Kerikeri.”  I said, “Yippee.” So we got in the car and went to pick up my Aunty Rita in town. Then we drove to netball in Kerikeri.

When we got there I saw heaps of people there.

I shouted, “Yippee it is cool at netball.”

We watched the teams playing netball and we ran around the courts having lots of fun.

Then I felt tired.  I said,  “Aunty Milly,can we go home?” She said, “No we have to wait till the netball games are finished.”
