Recount Writing:At the Market Day.

At the market.

On Friday afternoon I went to the market at Tautoro School. I went with my nan and Aunty’s and uncle and my friends. First Lana and I went to our Nan when the tickets were on sale in the staff room. My Nan gave us some tickets to buy some stuff. I bought a sunflower in Room 3. Next Lana and I went to get a hotdog in the kitchen.   

I got a drink. It was $2 each.

Then I got candy floss $2 each It was yummy in tummy.

After that I went to get some slime for $2 each.

Finally I got a banana split for $4.

In  Room 3 we have been growing seeds like squash and  ceda and sunflower and sweet corn and Tomato and  pansy courgette and coriander. They are all $1.  I think it will make us $400 or more.

We all felt shocked when we saw all the plants in the greenhouse and had to walk the plants into class and put them on the tables.  I didn’t think we had that many.

In class Mrs Paraha said we should spray the weak plants.

The important thing is that we need to give them water and plant and fresh air and  fresh soil.  It was easy to grow.  I am proud of our whanau healthy vegetables.

Number knowledge : 4 .

                                             I am learning to read any number to 1000.

We should play sport every day.

I think we should play sport every day.

Firstly I think we should play sport every day because when we are running we are getting fit.

Secondly I think we should play sport every day because we can learn to work as a team.

Another reason why I think we should play sport every day because we learn good scos like kicking the ball.

Lastly I think we should play sport every day because our hart gets fresh aer.

So that’s why I think we should play  sport every day.

I think we should do homework every night.   

Firstly I think we should do homework every night because it helps us learn goals by practising our homework.

Secondly I think we should do homework every night because it helps us to grow smarter.

Another reason why I think we should do homework every night is because we can spend 1 on 1 time with our nans.

Lastly I think we should do homework every night because it helps us to learn our words.

So that’s why I think we should do homework every night.

Recount writing - Going to Rawene.

Going to Rawene.

On a hot Wednesday morning  I went with my nan Aunts and brother and Joe and sister to Rawen to go for my appointment at the doctors.

First my Aunty came with us so she could go for her appointment in Rawene hospital.

When we were travelling to RawenI looked out the window and saw some magpies. The magpies were flying. I said, “Look at that Lana.” “Oh my gosh,” said Lana. She likes magpies.  Then I felt sleepy in the car because it took a long time to get to Rawene.

Next I felt joyful when we got to the hospital. We were late. My appointment was past. It was at 10.30. I had to go in with my Aunty Milly. My aunty finally went in. I went with her. Then we were finished so we went to get fish and chips. We went to a table by the beach. I went to get the drinks from out of the car. After that we all had some food.

The food was yummy and delicious.
